Participating in our free Farmer Time initiative will allow you to use current technology in your classroom to bring your curriculum to life. Communicating regularly with a real-life example of a UK working farm and farmer, you will be able to not only offer your students the opportunity to find out where their food comes from but also promote understanding of a wide range of curriculum subjects. With over 1,000 UK schools already participating in the initiative, engaging and relevant learning opportunities have been created across the UK from EYFS to Key Stage 5 proving that Farmer Time would be an effective contribution to your classroom delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: there is currently a waiting list for schools taking part in Farmer Time, we’re thrilled at how the project has taken off and so many teachers are recommending the Farmer Time initiative – thank you! We’re doing all we can to get farmers on board and ready for the connection, so please bear with us and we hope to be able to pair you up with a farmer within two months of signing up.
Due to high demand for the Farmer Time project, we have closed teacher registrations for the summer in order to ensure all teachers who are currently signed up to take part in Farmer Time will have the opportunity to be matched with a farmer. Teacher registrations will reopen in the Autumn, and we would welcome your registration then.
