(Primary) International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Join us for a virtual tour of an award-winning LEAF marque farm, as we celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science. 

This 30-minute tour will provide students with the opportunity to discover how STEM subjects enable us to grow and rear food sustainably whilst caring for the natural environment and working alongside nature.

Resources to support pre-teaching and allow the delivery of follow-up activities will be shared with registered classes before the event. 

This event might be useful for those interested in STEM, food production, and sustainability. It will also be of interest to those involved in careers education and the delivery of Gatsby benchmarks: 

• Linking curriculum learning to careers
• Providing encounters with employers and employees
• Giving students an experience of workplaces
