Lewis has over 15 years’ experience working as a Farm, Rural Business and Environmental Consultant across England and Scotland advising on BPS, CSS, ELM, strategic business planning, waste licencing, compliance and nutrient planning. Lewis works nationwide but is primarily based in the Scottish borders.
George is a LEAF Endorsed Advisor and Consultant and has a passion for Integrated Farm Management. Specialisms include grass-based livestock production systems and integration with arable cropping. He has particular expertise in soil health, grass growth and utilisation, LEAN management, farm system integration, carbon and net zero planning.
Richard is a LEAF Endorsed Advisor, Consultant and also a LEAF Marque farm auditor. His journey started on an English mixed fruit, hop and arable farm, and his career then took him as a technologist from Spanish soft fruit fields to the banana plantations in South America. He has been fortunate to work in Europe, North Africa, China and many countries in between, working with major importers and supermarkets specialising in Food safety Root Cause Analysis and has been involved with LEAF since 1996. Richard also breeds free range, rare breed “British Lop Pigs”, which are sold to local farm shops.
Andy Guy Consulting offers sustainable food and farming management advice to farmers and food businesses. With practical experience as a LEAF Demonstration Farmer (2004-2010) and a detailed understanding of LEAF Marque, Andy is extremely well qualified in the area of sustainable food and farming and Integrated Farm Management. Services include LEAF Marque optimisation, business planning, business reviews, tenancy applications and other tailored advice and training packages to suit all budgets.
Ross has worked in agriculture for over 35 years and specialises in plant nutrient use efficiency and soil health. He previously worked for CF Fertilisers and is BASIS Registered for BETA, FACTS & Agi-chem advice and provides on-farm technical support in these areas. Ross works across the midlands and South of England.
Alex Radu, Technical manager of the Agrovista Fruit team, has been advising UK fruit growers for well over a decade. After studying Horticulture for his diplomas and graduated an MSc Hort at Reading Uni, Alex joined the Agrovista UK as a Fruit agronomist and specialised in ICM. He holds BASIS and FACTS Hort certification, is technically involved in BAPL, AIC and in Innovate UK projects, is passionate about nature and is an active member of the RSB and IOBC. Alex is based in Kent, supporting the Fruit industry and his agronomy colleagues nationwide.
