LEAF Education, in partnership with our members, works to engage, inspire and motivate young people through experiential learning, in order to equip our future generations with balanced and informed insight into food production, farming and the environment. “The most important part of the day, for me, was the planning aspects of a farm visit which covered so many curriculum areas. Looking around the farm was very interesting and gave an insight into what could be achieved from a visit, again great hands-on activities.”

— Trainee teacher

”Our Regional Education Consultant provided practical advice and ‘wowed’everyone with suggestions for activities, from turning the children into a moving,noise-making combine harvester, to worm charming.”

— Farmer

“It really opened my eyes to see how a farm is run as a multi-million pound business, and to think about all the decisions the farmer has to make, not just what crops to grow.”
