(Primary) Looking After Nature. Biodiversity on the Farm

Join us for a virtual visit to a real arable and sheep farm!

Children will discover how crops and animals are cared for and learn how farmers look after nature on their farms. They’ll see how hedgerows, ponds, and wildflower areas provide homes for wildlife and how caring for the environment helps keep the farm healthy and productive. 
 
This 45-minute session links to curriculum topics such as: 
 
Living things and their habitats 
 
Food chains 
 
Plants and animals in the environment 
 
Caring for our planet 
 
Pre-teaching resources and follow-up activities will be shared with registered classes to build understanding before and after the session.
