LEAF Marque Champions
Connecting and supporting existing and onboarding LEAF Marque producers across the globe!
LEAF Marque are seeking forward thinking, best-practice growers to join an exciting new initiative!
We are creating a global network of LEAF Marque certified producers to showcase sustainable practices from around the world and to support those beginning their LEAF Marque certification journey. The purpose of LEAF Marque Champions is to connect and support existing and onboarding LEAF Marque producers across the globe. Peer-to-peer learning and collaboration on an international scale is the foundation of this initiative. LEAF Marque Champions act as ambassadors for LEAF Marque and are encouraged to communicate their experiences of certification, Integrated Farm Management, and their aspirations.
LEAF Marque Champions receive:
- Free LEAF Charity Membership during their participation in this initiative.
- Free access to support and training from the LEAF Marque team.
- Opportunities to feedback and engage with the development of producer-facing certification guidance.
- Opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and participation in numerous ground-breaking projects.
- Compliance with the Engaging Society section of the LEAF Marque Standard.
- Connections within a network of fellow growers and producers from around the world.
Champion requirements:
- 2 years of LEAF Marque certification.
- Able to commit for a minimum of 3 years.
- Able to commit to a minimum of only 1 days’ worth of time per year.
- Have a working level of English or Spanish (spoken).
- Any size of farm, in any location, of any production type with a passion for sustainable practices.
- Willingness to provide experiences of the LEAF Marque certification processes and present own experiences via video clips, blogs or contributions to articles and events.
