Farm Visits

Health and wellbeing on the farm

You and your students are invited to a sensory-rich visit that also makes the connections between food, farming and nature.

Research shows that we all benefit from time outdoors. At a period when many young people are being diagnosed with stress-related illnesses, you and your students are invited to a sensory-rich visit that also makes the connections between food, farming and nature.

Activities are based on the five senses and can be tailored to suit different
groups and age ranges.

We don’t have any planned dates for this event right now but we can deliver all our activities on-demand, or our team of experienced educators can create tailored experiences for your specific needs.

“The children really enjoyed the tour of the farm and being able to go into the field to see the animals close up; a real chance to get out of the classroom environment and continue learning.”

— Year 3 teacher

“It really opened my eyes to see how a farm is run as a multi-million pound business, and to think about all the decisions the farmer has to make, not just what crops to grow.”

— A level business studies student
