In-School Session

The Future of Farming

The Future Farming module is an interactive workshop for students to achieve a greater understanding of importation, exportation, production and sustainability.

The Future Farming module workshop has been developed to help spread positive messages about food and farming. Delivered by your LEAF Education Specialist, the aim of this interactive workshop is for students to achieve a greater understanding of importation, exportation, production and sustainability. In addition, the activities aim to break down misconceptions that a career in farming is just about livestock and tractors.

This agricultural project strongly supports core aims in relation to PSHE: developing critical thinking, encouraging learners to explore living in the wider world whilst encompassing economic and environmental well-being and aspects of agricultural, food and retail careers education.

By participating in this workshop, your students will understand the impact population growth has on food production and where the world’s food is produced. They will gain knowledge around the future technologies and advances within agriculture and the careers involved in British food production.

We don’t have any planned dates for this event right now but we can deliver all our activities on-demand, or our team of experienced educators can create tailored experiences for your specific needs.
