Join us for a virtual tour of a working arable. This 45-minute tour will provide students the opportunity to discover some of the large number of careers linked to farming and food production. Resources to support pre-teaching and allow the delivery of follow-up activities will be shared with registered classes before the event.
This event might be useful for those interested in STEM, food production and sustainability. It will also be of interest to those involved in careers education and the delivery of Gatsby benchmarks:
- Linking curriculum learning to careers
- Providing encounters with employers and employees
- Giving students an experiences of workplaces
